PRODUCT OVERVIEW
IDRIA G is a gel-separator tube system for preparing pure, leukocyte-reduced PRP. During centrifugation, platelets concentrate above the gel while red blood cells and most granulocytes remain below it; Clinicians can retrieve pure PRP or, by adjusting the draw level, PRP with a controlled number of mononuclear cells (MNCs). Use is at clinician discretion and subject to local regulations and professional guidelines.

IDRIA pure or monocyte-rich PRP product contains IDRIA G tube and accessories for blood draw. IDRIA G can offer pure PRP in plasma with partial presence of white cells and a complete depletion of red blood cells. This clean solution is an important prerogative for all clinical application. Gel separation, during the centrifugation allows separation of blood components according to their density concentrating platelets and separating them from the inflammatory component of white blood cells. Platelets precipitate on the top part of the gel, while granulocytes and red blood cells are trapped under the gel at the bottom of the tube. The use of anticoagulant ACD-A (3.2 mL citric acid trisodium dihydrate salt) controls and maintains the natural pH ideal for tissue regeneration.
