IDRIA S+

Autologous Cytokine-Conditioned Serum (IL-1Ra–focused)

Cell-free conditioned and enriched autologous serum, prepared in a single visit. Glass-bead conditioning is designed to increase IL-1Ra and related anti-inflammatory cytokines, followed by a single centrifugation step for serum recovery.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

IDRIA S+ is a glass-bead activation system that conditions autologous serum to increase anti-inflammatory  cytokines—notably IL-1Ra—via monocyte stimulation on treated glass surfaces. Traditional ACS methods typically require hours of incubation at 37 °C, while IDRIA S+ is designed to avoid incubation and enable same-visit preparation. Result: 15 mL of cell-free, cytokine-enriched serum in 30–40 minutes overall.

IL-1Ra is a natural antagonist of IL-1 signaling and is widely studied in joint and tissue inflammation. ACS approaches using glass beads are known to increase IL-1Ra and related cytokines. Evidence and practice vary by indication.

IDRIA S+

And Anti-Inflammatory Profile

The graph demonstrates the immunomodulatory effect of positively charged glass bead stimulation on monocytes.

A fold increase in IL-1Ra was observed compared to baseline levels, confirming strong anti-inflammatory activity.

IDRIA S+ is designed to enrich IL-1Ra in Cell-free conditioned serum. In an internal, independent test set (n=5), IL-1Ra increased versus baseline across all subjects (see figures). Published literature on glass-bead conditioning reports shifts in additional cytokines (e.g., IL-4, IL-10); Clinical relevance varies by indication and patient.

From a workflow perspective, preparation is practical: A room-temperature activation (30 minutes) followed by a 10-minute spin at 2,700 rcf (×g) enables same-visit serum recovery.

This combination of rapid preparation, anti-inflammatory cytokine upregulation, and regenerative growth factors highlights the positioned for clinician-directed use of this approach in advanced regenerative medicine and clinical practice.

WHAT IT IS

IDRIA S+ uses treated glass beads to condition autologous blood at room temperature. After a 30-minute activation and 10-minute spin at 2,700 rcf (×g), clinicians recover cell-free conditioned serum typically 15 mL from 30 mL blood (configuration-dependent).
