PCX

Discover the power of PCX - a system designed for maximized tissue regeneration.

The advanced gel separation technology in Idria allows the
product to skillfully concentrate platelets while eliminating inflammatory
components, thus offering a clean and customized PRP solution. In
combination with the Protsmart 2 ultrafiltrator and concentrator, it
enriches plasma with platelets and mononuclear cells, while effectively
depleting granulocytes and red blood cells.
The system ensures a x4 fold concentrated yield of platelets and
mononucleated cells, complete elimination of pro-inflammatory cells, and
a rich concentration of anabolic cytokines.

Possibility to choose the concentration of the preparation according to the  different clinical applications, thus controlling the final volume of the PURE PRP.

The physicians processing 28 ml of blood, can obtain 4 ml of PRP with a fold increase medium 4/5x and 8 ml of PPP with high concentrations of regenerative cells, in a single 8-minute spin(1500 rgf).

IDRIA G induced proliferation and differentiation of various cell types Improved formation of collagen, elastin  and proteoglycan production, stimulation of angiogenesis and chemotaxis.

This advanced PCX system includes one IDRIA G tube, one Protsmart device and blood draw accessories, enabling clinicians to obtain plasma enriched with 4–5 times the platelet concentration of conventional PRP systems. Through precise centrifugation and specialized separation technology, the system isolates regenerative platelets while removing pro-inflammatory granulocytes and red blood cells for a clean, therapeutic product suitable for sensitive clinical indications.

Platelets are concentrated into the upper plasma fraction, while unwanted blood elements settle below a proprietary gel barrier. This method ensures a pure PRP fraction, rich in anabolic cytokines, and suitable for orthopedic, aesthetic, and regenerative applications. The use of a balanced citrate-based anticoagulant preserves pH stability and cellular viability, optimizing the environment for tissue repair.

With a single 8-minute spin (1500 rgf), clinicians can process 23 ml of blood to obtain 2-3 ml of ultra-concentrated PRP, delivering high-dose platelet-derived growth factors. The optimized yield and profile of PCX make it ideal for demanding applications such as cartilage repair, tendon injuries, aesthetic rejuvenation, and post-surgical recovery.

Maximum platelet recovery and concentration (4–5× over baseline)
Effective depletion of red cells and inflammatory granulocytes
Preservation of mononuclear cells when required
High concentrations of bioactive proteins and anabolic mediators

This ultraconcentrateted PRP enhances cell proliferation, promotes angiogenesis, and stimulates the regeneration of extracellular matrix components such as collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid. Additionally, the concentrated growth factors modulate inflammation and support the M1-to-M2 macrophage transition,
accelerating the shift toward tissue healing.

Indications

Orthopaedics and sports medicine
PRP has been successful in treating various musculoskeletal conditions, such as osteoarthritis, tendon injuries, ligament injuries, and joint pain. It has also been used to promote healing and reduce recovery time in sports-related injuries.
Gynaecology
PRP has been used to treat Vulvovaginal atrophy , Lichen sclerosus, Pelvic floor dysfunction and urinary incontinence, Ovarian rejuvenation and Female sexual dysfunction
Aesthetic medicine and dermatology
In this field, PRP has shown promising results in skin rejuvenation, reducing fine lines and wrinkles, improving skin texture, and treating acne scars. Additionally, PRP has been used to treat hair loss conditions, such as androgenic alopecia.
Wound care and healing
PRP has been used to improve wound healing, particularly in chronic wounds such as diabetic ulcers, venous ulcers, and pressure ulcers. It has also been applied in burn injury management to promote faster recovery.
Dental and periodontal treatments
PRP has been applied in dental procedures, including dental implant surgeries, periodontal treatments, bone grafting, and sinus augmentation, to promote healing and reduce complications.
Pain management
PRP injections have been used to treat chronic pain conditions, such as joint pain, muscle pain, and nerve pain, by promoting tissue repair and reducing inflammation.
Plastic and reconstructive surgery
In these surgeries, PRP has shown success in enhancing soft tissue healing, reducing postoperative complications, and improving scar appearance.
Urology
PRP injections, often called the "P-shot," have been used to treat Erectile dysfunction, Peyronie's disease, Chronic prostatitis and pelvic pain.
